Welcome to my MacIntyre Journey's blog page!!  My biggest goal is to offer my thoughts, photos and artifacts of our family that descended from Scottish immigrant Alexander McIntyre.  I've been the fortunate recipient of many family treasures and wish to share them with all of interested family members.  Some of these items have already been posted on Ancestry.com and possibly even Facebook, however this blog format will allow my followers to also share their own insight and knowledge.   I am simply an amateur genealogist and motivated to tell the stories of our common ancestors based on what is known.  What is interesting about family collaboration is your vantage point is going to be different than mine because of who our particular parentage is derived from.  My patriarchal line was Alexander, Andrew, Alexander, Martin, Oliver and my father Roderick.  My brother Scott has three sons and three grandsons that continue to carry the McIntire name!   Of course yours will be different, with so much more to share!  I'm excited for what we can find out together on this journey, so let's get going!!  See you on the trail!
